Carpe Diem – “seize the day”
With just over a week before school starts, it’s time to book in the last few Adventures before the kids are busy at school. Finish the summer break off with a memorable adventure!
If you don’t have any “back-to-schoolers” in your house, you could book your adventures into September as well because we are fully open right up until October.
Our whale watching tours are still seeing whales 100% of the time and we have availability every day for any of our kayak tours! We also have a variety of rentals to choose from: bikes, scooters, e-bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, a pedal boat and a canoe!
Give us a call and we can help you decide on the adventure that will work best for you!

This year we have done an astonishing number of Bioluminescent Kayak Tours or as we call them “Bio Tours”. These guided kayak tours offer our guests a chance to see the wonders of nature late at night from the seat of a kayak.
Bioluminescence by definition is the biochemical emission of light by living organisms like fireflies as an example. What we are technically seeing in the water on our Bio Tours is Phosphorescence, which is typically caused by algae growth in the water. The various species of algae emit a brief bright light glow effect whenever they are activated by mechanical stimulation in the water.
Phosphorescence is similar to fluorescence except that it is more stable, so the energy is released over a longer duration, resulting in a glow after the light has been removed. This is similar to how glow-in-the-dark stickers work.
To learn about Phosphorescence and other interesting facts, join us on a Kayak Tour with one of our amazing guides!

Clean Adventure Project:
Cleaning the Ocean, One Piece at a Time!
We want to do our part to help protect our beautiful environment, and we encourage you to join us in our fight for a CLEANER OCEAN!
We are collecting garbage on our adventures! Help us collect and keep our ocean clean!
Over the past year we have removed 55 pounds of garbage and 33 pounds of recycling from the ocean while on our adventures. That’s a total of 88 pounds of pollutants removed!
Of some of the more interesting items we have removed from the ocean are: a couch cushion, a half-filled leaking bottle of Power Steering fluid, a forest pesticide bag found on an indigenous site, a men’s steel-toed work boot, several plastic buckets, and countless plastic bags and beverage cans.
