PADDLE BOARD RENTAL RULES

SAFETY FIRST: If you are renting any kayaks or paddle boards, you MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM and be capable of rescuing yourself and anyone else in your rental group. Our local waters are COLD.

Ages 16–18 may paddle board with adult supervision

Ages 6–15 may paddle independently with adult nearby OR share a board

Children Under 6 may share with adult + second supervising adult

• NO dragging equipment
• Return all gear on time
• Return all gear to proper area

If you damage any of the equipment and it needs repair, please let us know!

LAUNCHING THE EQUIPMENT

We recommend you take your rented kayak, or paddle board out in our beautiful Ganges Harbour from our dock. We give you route information and there is lots of wildlife to view, as well as some amazing beaches to spend some time.

We do have inflatable Stand Up Paddle Boards that come with a carry bag and a pump, great for taking with you in your vehicle and visiting other beaches and bays on Salt Spring!

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A valid credit card is required for a damage deposit hold. We pre-authorize/hold $100 for each watercraft rented. Damage fees are equal to 1 or 2 days of rental fees, plus any equipment needing to be purchased/replaced.

We reserve the right to notify guests if their vehicle is not suitable for transporting the rental equipment, if concerned of damage to gear. Any damage to the rental equipment created by the transportation or during the rental is the clients’ financial responsibility.
